Things I wish I knew before....
- school is important, but it isn't everything
- friends are important, but you need to pick the right ones
- have fun in college, because real life isn't
- pick your major based on what you enjoy, not by what you think will make money
- don't go by what a guy says, but by what he does
- anyone making you do something you don't want to, isn't a real friend
- be yourself, if they can't take it, they don't deserve you
- listening to your gut can save you a lot of heartache and headache
- having your way isn't everything, life is about compromise
- no one can read minds, if you want something, say something
- there is no such thing as Prince Charming, except in Disney movies
- credit cards should come with a warning label
- retail therapy is way better than a shrink, but friends are so much better
- don't hold back from friends, real ones will be there no matter what you tell them
- anyone willing to listen and believe gossip about you isn't worth the time
- never having been drunk isn't a bad thing
- self confidence can make you stand tall
